Scape Sketch #2

     From November 16th, 2016:

I have a big book about UNESCO World Heritage Sites and it’s filled with a lot of lovely, colourful pictures of places I would someday like to visit. Every now and then, I pick a photo from the book and I draw it. Sometimes it’s a simple copy of the picture, other times I add in my own elements to make it something different.

This is meant to be a rough sketch of a landscape featuring rocky cliffs in the distance but I’m not very good at rocks. Rocks and pretty much everything else! Nevertheless, it was a fun, albeit simple, sketch to do and I enjoyed using the sepia tone pens instead of black. There was a lot of blank space to the foreground of the sketch so I ended up adding in a simple figure just to fill it up.
