Watercolour Flowers

From March 2019:

Some simple watercolour flowers as practice (wasn’t happy with the waterbrush I was using though as it was broken and not dispersing water properly).

  1. Cute flowers. I really cannot get on with waterbrushes – I’ve tried so many and they either let out too much water or none at all (I think the valve in them gets messed up somehow) I have one that I can tolerate but I use it very infrequently.

    1. Yeah, some waterbrushes are better than others with water control. I keep running into the issue where the flow just stops and the paint actually goes back up into the water barrel making a mess. If I’m going painting a bigger painting I’ll use regular brushes and a jar of water but for my journals and sketchbooks I’m usually looking to just do something quickly (usually in bed while watching Netflix) so waterbrushes are just so much easier to use then.
